As a part of the funding for the Kid’s Environment and Health Cohort, we will be developing some projects to showcase how this database and resource can be used by researchers in the future.
The first of these projects will explore how access to natural spaces and parks around young people’s local neighbourhoods can influence mental health risks over time.
The second project will explore the effects of living near to OFSTED registered childcare facilities and how this can affect childhood development.
The results of these initial research projects will showcase to both the general public and researchers how the Kid’s Environment and Health Cohort can be used to develop new studies and findings that can be used to improve people’s local environments.
