JUNE 2025
We had a fantastic time at the Environmental Child Health Research Group Symposium.
We learned about:
- How the Environmental Child Health Research Group is building data resources for population-based child health research from Pia Hardelid
- How air pollution and housing quality impact respiratory health, including bronchiolitis risk and antibiotic use in infancy from Amal Rammah, Caroline Hart, and Selin akaracı
- How green space and school environments are linked with children’s wellbeing from Melody Turner, Niloofar Shoari, and Joana Cruz, PhD
- How to involve children, young people and families in research from Pia Hardelid and Faith Miller
- How predictive modelling using machine learning can help us understand allergic disease trajectories, in an incredible guest lecture by Marie S.
Thank you to all our speakers and attendees for your engagement and insight throughout the day, particularly Marie S. who joined us from Epidemiology at Helmholtz Munich for her outstanding guest lecture!
